Bahrain accounts: new Fawateer bill payment service now availableLast updated: 25 November 2019 In November, we updated HSBCnet’s Bill Payment service to support Fawateer payments in Bahrain. Fawateer is a bill payment service that allows you to make direct payments to bill payees, or enquire and directly pay specific bill invoices. You can now use HSBCnet’s Bill Payment service to pay invoices through the Fawateer system. When creating a bill payment from a Bahrain (BH) account, select ‘Bill Payments’ from your menu, and choose Bahrain as the beneficiary bank location. Select ‘View all billers’ to search and select the biller you want to pay. Bahrain offers two types of Fawateer payments (online and offline) that will depend on the biller you select.
