Customers with accounts in the US: new payment options and mandatory requirements for ACH payments

Effective 20 March, we are enhancing ACH Credit payment screens for your accounts in the US to provide you more payment options on HSBCnet. As part of this enhancement, from 20 March, you will be able to make loan and credit card payments from your US-domiciled accounts via the ACH Credit screens on HSBCnet.
The new Loan and Credit Card (Card) payment options will be available for selection in the Account type dropdown menu located in the Beneficiary details section of ACH Credit screens.
In addition to the above enhancement, from 20 March, you can select the new Lookup button next to the Transit routing number fields to validate ACH routing numbers.

Action required before 20 March:
US ACH payment instructions with invalid ACH Transit routing numbers will be rejected from 20 March. We recommend you to review your ACH templates and ACH Credit standing instructions to make sure that they include the correct Transit routing numbers and account types. For beneficiary accounts domiciled with HSBC in the US, please use Transit routing number 021001088.
