Customers with accounts in Mexico: enhanced bank codes for SPEI and SPID payments

As of 19 March 2017, bank codes on Priority Payments screens for Mexican domestic payments will be enhanced to help you easily verify the type of payment a beneficiary bank can receive.
When registering your beneficiaries for on-screen payments, we recommend that you check the Bank code and Branch name note to ensure that it matches the type of payment (SPEI or SPID) you are sending. SPEI or SPID payment instructions that do not contain the correct bank code will be rejected.
