We’re committed to making your banking more straightforward by continuing to introduce more digital solutions for trade services. Starting in July 2021, you’ll be able to send specific trade applications for trade products and services through HSBCnet’s Message Centre that are currently not available as a standard option in HSBCnet.
Getting started
To start sending trade applications in Message Centre, your system administrator will need to provide you with ‘Message Centre – other request types’ permissions in the User management service for trade accounts on your HSBCnet profile
System administrators will be able to assign permissions that allow users to create and/or authorise new trade applications for trade products or services through Message Centre. All trade applications will need to be authorised by a user with ‘authorise’ permissions before the application will be processed.
Please note, we'll start introducing this service to our customers in July 2021. If your system administrator doesn’t see this service in user permissions screens, it may be because it's not available in your country/region yet.
How to submit trade applications in HSBCnet
To send a trade application, go to the 'Self-service and support' section of the menu to open the Message Centre.
In Message Centre, create a request by selecting the ‘Trade solutions’ category and the desired request type. You’ll then need to input the location and account number details, followed by the application type. Depending on the application type selected, you may be prompted to complete and attach an application form, along with any supporting documentation (as required).
