Balance and Transaction Reporting will soon be demised

For those users who have been using the Balance and Transaction Reporting service to receive information on their accounts, please note that ‘Account Information’ has been introduced to replace Balance and Transaction Reporting. However, the two services are still available in parallel for a limited time.

To provide a smooth transition, all information within 'Account Information' can be found in the same way you are used to in Balance and Transaction Reporting.

For further assistance please review the following:

Additional resources including a Quick Guide to compare Account Information and BTR as well as an Account Information training video are available in the service Help Text.

User Tip: when was the last time you verified your personal information on HSBCnet?

Your HSBCnet Personal Information profile allows the Bank to identify you and communicate with you in the event that we need to contact you in regards to your HSBCnet service. As such, it is imperative that you keep this information up-to-date and confidential.

At any time you can edit your Personal Information details such as your postal/e-mail addresses and phone numbers. Access your profile by selecting your name from the top of your screen when logged in on HSBCnet.

(Select image to expand)

Edit your personal information, including contact information and preferred language, in the Profile Details tab in the “Edit My Profile” screen.

  • If you haven’t updated your contact information recently, review your Personal Information profile in HSBCnet to ensure the information we have on file is still accurate.
  • When your contact information changes, ensure you update your Personal Information profile as soon as possible.

Select the Update selection boxes to update the Email and Telephone fields.

Important reminder:  HSBC will not send e-mails to customers requesting or containing security or confidential details, such as ID numbers, account log-on details or memorable word information. We will never ask you to enter or confirm your security details. By contrast, this is typically what a phishing e-mail does when it tries to obtain your security details.

We will, however, send you e-mails with important service information such as planned outages and enhancements. Any links within these e-mails will only take you to product and service information pages and not to any page where you will be asked to log in and provide personal information.

In order to ensure you are receiving the highest levels of security available, we strongly suggest customers upgrade to the latest version of your browser to ensure you receive the benefit of the latest security patches/updates available in newer browsers.
