In May, we introduced the Mobile Remote Deposit Capture (mRDC) service that allows you to deposit checks using the HSBCnet Mobile app.*
What is Mobile Remote Deposit Capture?
Mobile Report Deposit Capture (mRDC) is the latest HSBCnet Mobile enhancement which allows you to take a picture of your checks and deposit them into your HSBC US accounts.** To deposit checks (including bank drafts and domestic money orders) using mRDC, checks must be in US Dollars and drawn on a US financial institution to be eligible.
Deposited check images will be available via HSBCnet Mobile and on HSBCnet.com for up to 90 days from the deposit date. Check images will continue to be available on the desktop version of HSBCnet.
How to access mRDC:
You can access the mRDC service from the ‘More’ menu in HSBCnet Mobile by selecting ‘Deposit Checks’.
