HSBCnet Mobile: new features available in Canada and the US

Last updated: 7 April 2020

In March, we introduced new features to the HSBCnet Mobile app which we hope will improve your HSBCnet experience.

Here’s what’s new in HSBCnet Mobile:

  1. Mobile messaging:
You can now get help and support with HSBCnet Mobile using in-app mobile messaging. Access the ‘Help and support’ option found in the ‘More’ menu and select ‘Ask a question’ to send a message to your local HSBCnet Support Centre.

When you receive a response from the Support Centre, you’ll receive a notification on your mobile device.
  2. Notifications:
If you’re a payment authoriser in your organisation you can enable notifications in HSBCnet Mobile. Once enabled, you’ll only receive notifications for payments that you have the permissions to authorise. Additional notifications will be added in the future.

You can enable or disable authorisation notifications at any time. To change your notification settings, access the ‘Settings’ option from the ‘More’ menu. Select ‘Notifications’ to change your settings.

What you’ll need:

  • A supported Android device or iPhone – the list of supported devices can be found at https://www.hsbcnet.com/learningcentre/hsbcnet-mobile
  • The latest version of the HSBCnet Mobile app downloaded from the Google Play™ or the Apple App Store
  • Your HSBCnet Security Device
