Customers with accounts in the Middle East: update your business information with the Message Centre beginning 8 September

Last updated: 26 August 2019

Starting 8 September we’re updating our Message Centre services for accounts in the Middle East that will allow you to send requests directly to the bank to update your business contact information.

What does this mean for me?

Beginning 8 September, users with ‘Message Centre – Other request types’ permissions will have the ability to submit ‘Business Contact Update’ message requests to update contact details directly, instead of requiring an authorised signatory to go to a branch and sign documentation.

Through the Message Centre, you will be able to update the below contact information:

  • Office mailing address and telephone number
  • Primary and Secondary Contact Person details (including name, mobile phone, and email)
  • Separate Primary and Secondary Contact Person details for High Value Transactions

What do I need to do?

After 8 September, System Administrators can grant the ‘Message Centre – Other request types’ permissions to any user they would like to have access to this feature. Any user with the ‘Message Centre – Other request types’ permission will automatically have access to this message type after 8 September.
