Thailand accounts: outward Real-Time Payment service and updated HSBCnet payment screensLast updated: 25 November 2019
Beginning 16 December 2019, we’re updating HSBCnet so you can send Real-Time Payments from your Thailand accounts on HSBCnet. You’ll also notice a new look and feel to the HSBCnet payment screens when you select one of your Thailand accounts and choose Priority Payment as the payment type. What are Real-Time Payments? The Thailand Real-Time Payment service is a 24/7 system that allows you to send outgoing domestic transfers in Thai Baht (THB) to both corporate and individual payees for amounts up to 2,000,000 THB.* What’s changing on HSBCnet? Sending Real-Time Payments from your Thailand accounts will be available for both on-screen and File Upload services. Below are some of the changes you’ll notice on HSBCnet as of 16 December 2019.
(select image to enlarge) Account Information and Statement reporting On 16 December, we’re introducing new statement narratives and transaction codes for Priority Payments that are sent using the Real-Time Payments service. The enriched statement information will help you identify your transactions more easily. * Real-Time Payment limits may be set lower by beneficiary financial institutions. ** For payments sent using a Proxy/Alias, the ‘Beneficiary Account’ field in your payment advices will be replaced with ‘Beneficiary proxy’ and ‘Beneficiary Proxy Type’.
