Poland accounts: upcoming changes to your Tax paymentsLast updated: 25 November 2019 Beginning on 2 January 2020, in accordance with local regulations, we’ll be updating the way you make tax payments on HSBCnet from your HSBC Poland accounts. What’s changing? Starting from 2 January, you’ll need to make all PIT, CIT, or VAT tax payments valued after 1 January 2020 to individual taxpayer accounts generated using the PESEL (for individuals) or Tax Identification Number - NIP (for businesses). Additional information regarding this change and how to generate individual taxpayer accounts can be found on the Poland Ministry of Finance site. * Note: not using individual taxpayer account for PIT, CIT or VAT tax payments may result in your payments being delayed or rejected. Find out more If you have any questions on the upcoming changes to your HSBC Poland tax payments, please contact your Client Services representative.
