Poland accounts: upcoming changes to your Tax payments

Last updated: 25 November 2019

Beginning on 2 January 2020, in accordance with local regulations, we’ll be updating the way you make tax payments on HSBCnet from your HSBC Poland accounts.

What’s changing?

Starting from 2 January, you’ll need to make all PIT, CIT, or VAT tax payments valued after 1 January 2020 to individual taxpayer accounts generated using the PESEL (for individuals) or Tax Identification Number - NIP (for businesses). Additional information regarding this change and how to generate individual taxpayer accounts can be found on the Poland Ministry of Finance site. *

Note: not using individual taxpayer account for PIT, CIT or VAT tax payments may result in your payments being delayed or rejected.
