HSBC Securities Services: have you experienced Adobe Flash changes when logging onto Client View?Last updated: 3 July 2019 Client View currently runs on Adobe Flash Technology (a web design language). Adobe have announced that Flash will no longer be supported by web browsers after 2020, but your experience may be impacted as early as mid-2019. We’re currently in the process of upgrading HSS Client View from using Adobe Flash to HTML5 design language so that your services won’t be affected when Flash is no longer available. Alongside this change, we’re also re-designing Client View with a brand new look and feel. What’s the latest update? Browsers will phase out Flash and will remove the ability to run Adobe Flash throughout 2019. By the end of 2020, you will no longer have any ability to enable or run Flash across all browsers. What this means for you If you see a Flash-related error message when logging onto Client View, this may mean that you need to re-enable Flash in your browser’s settings. For details on how to update your Flash settings, please refer to your browser’s support site for instructions. Find out more If you have any questions about the changes we’re making to Client View, please contact your local HSBCnet Securities Services Help Desk or send an email to @hsbcnet.hss.support@hsbc.com.
