Customers with accounts in Thailand: bank holiday updates

The Bank of Thailand has recently announced the revision of the following bank holidays in 2017:

  • Friday, 5 May 2017 is no longer a bank holiday and will be a working day.
  • Friday, 28 July 2017 is a new bank holiday to celebrate the birthday of His Majesty King Maha Vajiralongkorn Bodindradebayavarangkun.
  • Friday, 13 October 2017 is a new bank holiday to commemorate the passing of His Majesty the late King Bhumibol Adulyadej.

Please note the above updates as your payments to/from accounts in Thailand cannot be value dated on bank holidays.
