Customers with accounts in Singapore: credit advices are going paperless effective 1 August 2017

As part of our ongoing efforts to meet our sustainability goals, from 1 August 2017, we will no longer issue paper credit advices for inward remittances for the following payment types:

  • Telegraphic (wire) transfers
  • FAST payments
  • GIRO (ACH) payments

What this means for you

While the paper version of your credit advices will no longer be available after 1 August, you can still monitor your incoming payments electronically on HSBCnet. You can also review your transaction details on your monthly account statements.

What you need to do

You can view your inbound remittance details on HSBCnet using the following services:

  • Account Information:
    View your transaction history and statement details in HSBCnet’s Account Information service. You can also export statements in PDF or Excel format and save on your computer for your records.

  • Customer Alerting:
    Schedule alerts to be delivered by email or SMS text whenever you receive an incoming payment to your Singapore account(s) via the Customer Alerting service. When you create an alert, you can select up to 6 HSBCnet users to receive the alerts (recipients must have the necessary account and service access permissions on HSBCnet). You can also set transaction limits so that you’re only alerted when you receive payments that fall within your chosen limit.

    To receive alerts to your preferred email address or mobile phone, make sure that your contact details are up-to-date in your HSBCnet user profile.

    If you’re unable to create or receive an alert, please contact your System Administrator to update your HSBCnet entitlements.
