New option for payments files submitted through File Upload

Dear HSBCnet User,

As part of our on-going work to better serve your needs with our secure online banking platform, we have introduced a new option for enhancing your ability to control access to important information within payment files. With this new option, you can choose to restrict access to information in uploaded payment files only to those users who have entitlements to the payment account.

Once this option is selected, only users having entitlement rights to all the debit accounts in an uploaded payment file will be able to view the file contents via the File Level Enquiry (FLE) service. This new feature applies to payment files for Priority Payment and ACH transactions uploaded via Instruction Level Authorisation (ILA) mode or the File Level Authorisation (FLA) mode.

Selecting this option also restricts authorisation of FLA files to only those users who have entitlement rights to all accounts in the FLA file.

How to enable this option

Please talk to your HSBCnet representative if you have any questions about this option or if you would like to apply this restriction on your HSBCnet profile.
