We understand the importance of trade services in driving the growth and success of businesses in today’s rapidly changing market environment. To help your business grow, we’ve listened and applied your feedback to improve the Trade solutions service in HSBCnet.

What this means for you

We’ll be enhancing HSBCnet’s Trade solutions service to make it easier for you to apply, view, and manage your trade transactions online.

Updated Trade solutions services will be made available to Trade customers in the following countries/regions throughout 2024:

  • Australia
  • Bahrain
  • Bangladesh
  • Indonesia
  • Kuwait
  • Macau SAR
  • Malaysia
  • Philippines
  • Saudi Arabia
  • Singapore
  • South Korea
  • Sri Lanka
  • Taiwan SAR
  • Thailand
  • US
  • Vietnam

Note: the above list of countries/regions may be subject to change.

Some of the key enhancements include:

  • More ways to self-serve – apply, view, follow, amend and manage trade transactions online, reducing the need for paper transactions and branch visits
  • Electronic trade advices – view and download trade advices directly in HSBCnet
  • Simplified trade applications – apply for a single loan to pay multiple beneficiaries, select standardised wording for Guarantee/Standby DC applications, and create goods release applications for shipping guarantees or air/road/rail release documents
  • Templates for transactions – ability to copy existing transaction details and/or create templates to frequent beneficiaries 

Changes to trade advices and statements

As part of the enhancements, additional transaction details will be included in trade advices and statements. These details will be shown in the following updated fields:
