Hong Kong accounts: electronic statements and advices coming to HSBCnet

In the coming weeks, customers with accounts domiciled in Hong Kong will be able to download copies of account statements and advices through the Account information service in HSBCnet.

What this means for you

Users with the Account information ‘Balance and statement’ permission for Hong Kong accounts will be able to view and download PDF copies of account statements in the Account information service. This permission will also allow users to view advices in Account information.

Statements will be made available to download through the Account information service for the following account types domiciled in Hong Kong:

 
  • HSBC Business Direct Account
  • BusinessVantage Account
  • Current Account
  • Hong Kong Dollar Statement Savings Account
  • CombiNations Statement Savings Account
  • Advices will be available for the following transaction types:

     
  • Time deposit maturity
  • Inward remittance
  • Outward remittance
  • Inward interbank transfer
  • Outward interbank transfer
  • Outward remittance charge
  • Cheque purchase
  • Cheque for collection - credit
  • Here’s what the permission looks like:

    In the Account information 'Statements' tab, once you select the 'Download' link, the PDF copy will be made available in your browser. Statements will be made available for up to 7 years and advices will be available for up to 3 months from the posting date of the statement or advice.
