System Administrators: we're making it easier for you to manage your transaction authorisers

Last updated: 8 March 2021

On 21 March 2021, we’re introducing a new ‘Maintain signature groups and authorisation limits’ screen in HSBCnet’s User management service. This page lets you easily view all of your users' signature groups and authorisation limits at a glance and quickly modify them in a streamlined workflow.

What you need to know

From 21 March 2021, the way that you set up and edit a user’s signature groups and authorisation limits will change. Once the new screen is introduced, you’ll no longer need to individually manage a user’s daily authorisation limits and signature groups in their ‘Permissions’ page.

To manage your transaction authorisers after 21 March, go to the User management service and simply select the ‘Signature groups & limits’ button from the top of the page.

Designed with you in mind

With the new ‘Maintain signature groups and authorisation limits’ screen, you’ll be able to:

  • View all of your transaction authorisers at a glance:
User details are listed by account, providing you with an overview of your organisation’s authorisers. Use the filters to customise your view based on your needs.
  • Easily review an individual user’s groups and limits setup:
The new screen gives you multiple summary views to help you identify which accounts and limits an individual user is set up for.
  • View which users are assigned to each signature group:
The 'View authorisers by signature group' link gives you a list of users for each signature group and service category.
  • Quickly make changes for multiple users:
The ‘Edit authorisations’ button allows you to update groups or limits for multiple users in a simplified workflow.
