Canada accounts: Mobile Cheque Deposit coming soonLast updated: 7 April 2020 In the coming weeks, we’re introducing a new feature that allows you to deposit your cheques directly to your HSBC accounts using the HSBCnet Mobile app. Mobile Cheque Deposit will be available from the ‘More’ menu when using HSBCnet Mobile. What is Mobile Cheque Deposit? With Mobile Cheque Deposit, you can deposit CAD and USD cheques to your HSBC Bank Canada accounts using HSBCnet Mobile. To qualify for mobile deposit, cheques (including bank drafts and money orders) must be drawn from a Canadian or US financial institution. You can view digital copies of your cheques using HSBCnet Mobile for up to 90 days from the date of deposit. From the ‘More’ menu in the HSBCnet Mobile app, select ‘Deposit cheques’ to begin using the service. Your HSBCnet System Administrator will need to update your user permissions to give access to the mobile ‘Remote deposit capture’ service. This can be done using HSBCnet’s ‘User management’ service. Note: you’ll need to have location settings enabled to deposit cheques using HSBCnet Mobile.
