Chile account holders: increased payment threshold for Chile online payments

On 10 June 2019, the transaction threshold for ‘Chile online payments’ will increase from 5 million to 7 million Chilean pesos (CLP).

What this means for you:

Beginning, 10 June, you’ll be able to send payments using the ‘Chile online payment’ service up to a maximum of CLP 7 million in a single transaction.

There will be no changes to ‘Chile other payments’, which can include Priority Payments being sent internationally or domestically.

What do I need to do?

Since the transaction limit is increasing, your organisation’s daily transaction limits and account signature limits may need to be adjusted to be able to process these transactions.

We recommend that your System Administrator(s) review the limits in place for your organisation on HSBCnet and update them, as needed.
