Effective 20 September 2015, Message Centre will automatically be available for all HSBCnet users. Message Centre provides a secure platform for HSBC to initiate administrative correspondence directly with HSBCnet customers.

The HSBCnet Message Centre features:

1Confidential message option
Non-confidential messages will be sent to all users under your HSBCnet customer profile. If a message is flagged as “Confidential” by HSBC, the message content will only be visible by the intended recipient. When replying to a message from HSBC, you can select the “Confidential message” checkbox to prevent other users in your organization from viewing the message. When this option is selected, all messages in the thread will only be viewable by you and the bank.

1New message e-mail alert
When the bank initiates a message via Message Centre, an e-mail alert will be sent to the e-mail address associated with your user profile. This e-mail serves as an advisory to login and review your Message Centre inbox. The e-mail alert will not contain any confidential information related to your profile or accounts.

1Message Centre entitlements
Please note that only entitled users will be able to initiate administrative and transactional queries with HSBC. If you do not have the necessary entitlement, the ‘Create’ button will not be visible in Message Centre.
