UAE accounts: important beneficiary details when sending domestic payments

Business moves fast and we know it’s important that your payments arrive on time, without unnecessary delays. For domestic payments in the UAE, there’s useful information that you can include to help make sure your payment isn’t delayed because it’s missing important beneficiary details.

What you need to know

To help reduce the chance that your payments are delayed, we recommend that you include the following beneficiary details when making domestic payments from HSBC accounts in the UAE:

Field Beneficiary details
Beneficiary address Full beneficiary address
Remittance information or
Information for the beneficiary
Additional beneficiary details, for example:
  • Date of birth
  • National ID number
  • Trading license number

We also recommend that you review and, if necessary, update payment templates, standing instructions and forward-dated payments to make sure they include the required beneficiary details.
