In the coming year, you’ll no longer be able to submit foreign currency demand draft requests using the Priority Payments screen in HSBCnet.
What’s changing?
Effective 1 January 2023, foreign currency demand draft requests debiting Hong Kong accounts submitted using the Priority Payment screen in HSBCnet will be rejected.
If you have any cross-border payments, you can still send Priority Payments directly to your beneficiaries using HSBCnet.
Foreign currency demand drafts issued before 1 January 2023 will be valid for 6 months from the date of issuance. For example, demand drafts issued on 31 December 2022 will be valid for deposit until 30 June 2023.
