Client View: Securities Instruction tool being retired for Global Custody Asia customers in JuneLast updated: 1 June 2020 In 2018, we introduced the Transaction Capture service to replace the Securities Instruction service for Global Custody Asia clients. For the past 2 years, we’ve offered both services for you to submit your securities services related settlement instructions. But now, it’s time to retire the Securities Instruction service. What this means for youIn June 2020, we’re retiring the Securities Instruction service for Global Custody Asia customers. This means you’ll no longer be able to capture or submit any Global Custody Asia settlement instructions where the location/Institution option is input as ’HSBC Institutional Fund Services Asia Pacific’. If you have Global Custody Europe or Direct Custody accounts, you can continue to use the Securities Instruction tool until further notice. What is the Transaction Capture service?The Transaction Capture service provides a streamlined interface for submitting and approving your settlement instructions.
