Mexico accounts: you can now identify your Priority Payments and ACH Payments as payrollLast updated: 7 January 2020 On 9 December 2019, we updated our Priority Payments and ACH Payments services to allow you to identify when you’re sending payroll payments from your Mexico accounts. You can use this new feature for your on-screen payments, as well as payments made using File Upload or the HSBC Connect service. What does this mean for me? When creating payments, you now have the option to select the ‘Payroll payment’ checkbox or include the payroll indicator directly in your payment files. *
If your payment is a payroll payment, you can select the 'Payroll payment' checkbox (select image to enlarge) If you submit Priority or ACH payroll payments files, please review the payment identifier information that matches the file type and format you use. Find out more If you have any questions about payroll payments in Mexico, please contact your local HSBCnet Support Centre. To obtain Message Implementation Guides (MIG) for file formatting, please contact your Client Services representative.
* The payroll payment indicator is optional. If you submit your payroll payments without this indicator, your payments will continue to be processed as they are today.
