Bermuda accounts: upcoming changes to GBP demand drafts beginning 30 September 2020

Starting 30 September 2020, you'll no longer be able to submit demand draft requests from your Bermuda accounts in pound sterling (GBP) using HSBCnet.

What this means for you

Beginning 30 September, any GBP currency demand draft requests will not be processed. If you have any payments that must be sent in GBP, you can still send Priority payments directly to your beneficiaries using HSBCnet.

Any demand drafts issued in GBP prior to 30 September will be honoured until 31 March 2021.

Note: you’ll still be able to request demand drafts in CAD or USD.
