All HSBCnet users: new transaction authorisation screens coming 8 September

On 8 September 2019, we’re continuing to introduce a new look for Security Device authentication screens on HSBCnet. As such, you may notice a new authorisation screen when you submit transactions using HSBCnet’s Payments and File Upload services.

What’s changing?

You’ll continue to generate and input your security code just like you do today. The new page has just been redesigned so that it has the same look and feel as our other recently updated HSBCnet pages.

Important note: if your organisation has firewall settings that restrict access to certain websites, you may need to contact your IT department to update your firewall settings to support the new screen. To learn more about the settings for the new screen, contact your local HSBCnet Support Centre.

Reminder: if you’re ever concerned about the legitimacy of updated authentication screens, please contact your local HSBCnet Support Centre to verify that the changes are valid.
