Introducing the new HSBCnet News service update messages

Last updated: 27 May 2019

On the new HSBCnet home page, you’ll see HSBCnet News service update notifications under the ‘Welcome to HSBCnet’ banners. We recommend that you regularly review these notifications to make sure that you’re kept up-to-date on what’s happening in HSBCnet.

What this means for you

HSBCnet News service updates are secure post-logon messages designed to provide you with important system information, including direct links to supporting documents, guides and HSBCnet pages – making it easier for you to access the information you need, when you need it.

Here are the types of important messages you’ll see in HSBCnet News:

  • Details about recent and upcoming system changes, along with any related actions you need to take;
  • Information about regulatory updates around the world and how they may impact you;
  • Security-related alerts to help you maintain a secure online banking experience; as well as
  • Upcoming System maintenance notices.

At any time during your HSBCnet session, you can return to the HSBCnet News archive by selecting the `HSBCnet News` link on the HSBCnet home page.

Important note: if you choose not to review these messages regularly, you may find that you'll be at risk of negatively affecting your experience on HSBCnet.

What if I don’t see the new HSBCnet screens when I log on?

Don’t worry, we’re working to migrate all HSBCnet customers to the new screens over the coming months.
