Accounts in Saudi Arabia: new ESAL bill payment service available from 2 DecemberLast updated: 19 November 2018 Over the weekend of 1/2 December, we updated HSBCnet’s Bill Payment service to support ESAL payments in Saudi Arabia. ESAL is a digital invoicing system in Saudi Arabia that allows suppliers to digitally send invoices to their buyers and receive payments through the local SADAD payment system. What does this mean for me? From 2 December, you can use HSBCnet’s Bill Payment service to pay invoices through the ESAL system. When creating a bill payment from a Saudi Arabian (SABB) account, simply select the new ‘ESAL’ option in the ‘Service’ dropdown list (as shown in the image below) and proceed with creating your payment instruction. With ESAL, you can pay a single invoice using the SADAD Bills ID or pay multiple invoices using your Payer ID. You can obtain your Payer ID from SADAD for all company invoices. If you’re currently able to create bill payments from SABB accounts on HSBCnet, you’ll automatically be able to create an ESAL payment after 2 December (no additional permissions required). If you don’t see the ESAL option in the Bill Payments service, please contact SABB GLCM Client Services at glcmclientservices@sabb.com. Find out more If you have questions about the ESAL service in Saudi Arabia, please contact the SABB GLCM Client Services at glcmclientservices@sabb.com.
