Customers sending USD payments in the US: new payment statuses for domestic payments

We are enhancing the HSBCnet Payment Summary service to provide you with more details on the status of your domestic USD payments. Soon you will see the following new payment status indicators in the Payment Summary service:

  • The Received by bank status displays when your account has been debited and the payment has been sent successfully;
  • The Rejected by bank status indicates that the payment was not sent to the beneficiary. This could mean that the payment instruction included incomplete information or errors. You will need to create and submit a new payment instruction on HSBCnet to proceed with payment.

Select the status from the Payment Summary screen to view details of your payment’s status and take further action.
