Customers with accounts in the UAE: extended cut-off time for domestic UAE Dirham (AED) currency paymentsLast updated: 27 June 2017 In support of recent changes announced by the Central Bank of UAE, effective 1 July 2017, the cut-off time for sending AED transactions within the UAE has been extended to 4:00pm Gulf Standard Time (GST). The new cut-off time applies to domestic Priority Payments and Customers Transfers from debit accounts held with HSBC UAE. The cut-off time for ACH Credit and Wage Protection System (WPS) transactions remains unchanged. What this means for you All AED currency transactions that are authorised by 4:00pm (GST) will be processed the same day.
