Customers with accounts in China and Hong Kong: enhanced bilingual payment advising

Effective 14 August 2016, payment advices for payments from accounts in China and Hong Kong will be issued by HSBCnet in a bilingual format as outlined in the tables below:

For Payment Advices issued by email, fax or mail
Payment issued from
Languages supported
Accounts domiciled in China
 English and Simplified Chinese
Accounts domiciled in Hong Kong
English and Traditional Chinese.


For Payment Advices issued by SMS
Payment issued from
Phone Number Area Code
Languages supported
Accounts domiciled in China & Hong Kong
+86
 English and Simplified Chinese
+852 English and Traditional Chinese
All other area codes English only
