Customers with HSBC China accounts: domestic payment updates

As of 7 November 2016, HSBCnet has been updated to support local system upgrades introduced by HSBC China. As part of the update, cut-off times for select domestic payments have been extended and you can view/download Transaction details via the Account Information service.

Extended cut-off times for HSBC China domestic payments:

Note: Payments submitted before 4:00 pm (HKT) will be credited to the beneficiary account on the value date. Instructions submitted after 4:00 pm will be credited to the beneficiary account on either the value date or next working day, subject to the beneficiary bank’s discretion.

Rejected ACH Credit transactions from bulk payments will be credited back to your account on the value day between 5:30 and 8:30pm HKT.

Inward payments processed on non-working days will be credited to your account with the next day’s value date and accrued interest.

HSBCnet Credit/Debit Transaction details:
As of 7 November 2016, once a payment transaction is completed, the Transaction details for the payment will be available in HSBCnet’s Account Information service. To view Transaction details, select the transaction amount link in your statement. You will also have the option to save the Transaction details as a PDF document.

Please note, Transaction details are not available for ACH Credit payments, returned payments and other system-generated transactions.
