File Upload payments with Instruction Level Authorisation (ILA) – ‘Instructions to bank’ section

Your payments submitted via File Upload service with Instruction Level Authorisation (ILA), can contain up to three lines of information in the ‘Instructions to bank’ section of each applicable payment.

If your ‘Instructions to bank’ details exceed three lines of data in your payment file, the information may not be carried over for processing and this may cause your payment to be rejected by HSBCnet. A File Exception report in the Reports and Files Download (RFD) service will be generated displaying the error.

Please ensure to download the File Upload / File Exception report in RFD after each of your payment file submissions via the File Upload service.
