Customers with accounts in Canada: updates required to USD payment templatesAs previously communicated, on 28 September 2015, HSBC Bank Canada changed its correspondent bank for domestic and international payments in USD currency. We strongly encourage you to proactively contact your customers/payees from whom you regularly receive remittance to your account in USD currency to share the new correspondent bank details above. After 31 January, 2016 any USD payment instructions that reference the previous correspondent bank will be rejected and will need to be re-sent with the proper routing instructions before payment can be received. |
