Customers with accounts in Brazil: new HSBCnet CNAB240 Payment Return file
A new CNAB240 Payment Return file will now be generated for your convenience. This will help to improve your Payments Reconciliation process.
How it works:
The new CNAB240 Payment Return files will include ACH Credits both for Supplier and Payroll payments and encompass Intraday (T+0) and End of Day (T+1) return files. CNAB240 End of Day return files will be available for download on RFD for 180 days.
Using our Payments Offline Software, you can use the new CNAB240 Payment Return files to generate individual and batched Official Payment Receipts.
- To download our Payments Offline Software logon to HSBCnet and select the “New CNAB240 Payment Return file for accounts in Brazil” service message which also contains the download link.
Your CNAB240 payment return files will be available in Reports and files download as shown below.
Please note: These new payment return files are not automatically available for use with HSBC Connect and/or SWIFT. Please contact our implementation team to arrange for set-up if you also use those channels: hsbcnet.implementationbrazil@hsbc.com.br.
